WHAT'S COVERED
— Interview scheduling and coordination
— Preboarding coordination — tracking requirements, chasing documents, ensuring start-date readiness
— Resume screening against your defined criteria
— Employment and education verification
— Phone screening using your structured questions and knockout criteria
— Offer letter preparation using pre-approved templates
— Tracker maintenance and updates
— Recruitment pipeline management
WHAT'S NOT COVERED
× Lead generation
× Business development
× Social media
× Marketing tasks
× End-to-end recruiting
× General admin outside recruitment operations
If it's not on the covered list, it's not in scope. This keeps the work focused, the hours accountable, and the service worth what you're paying for it.
Hours are tracked in ClickUp and visible to you at all times. When the hours are consumed, work stops until the next billing cycle. Hours do not roll over — unused hours are not carried forward.
Every task request is acknowledged within 24 business hours, with confirmation of scope fit before work begins. This isn't a retainer where things disappear into a black box. You see everything.
NO MONTHLY COMMITMENT
À la carte support gives you access to the same task menu as the retainer — with no monthly commitment. Same work. Higher hourly rate. No ClickUp visibility. Retainer clients take priority in the queue.
It's designed for two situations: testing a specific service before committing to a retainer, or a one-off need that doesn't justify a monthly plan.
If you find yourself using it consistently, the retainer is the smarter move — $20/hour instead of $25, ClickUp access, and priority scheduling from the first task.
Same tasks as the retainer. No ClickUp. No priority queue. Retainer clients come first.
HOW THE PURPLE PIPELINE COMPARES
Most boutique agency owners already know they need operational support.
What stops them isn't awareness — it's the assumption that proper support
means enterprise-level spend. It doesn't.
| General VA | Marketing Agency | Full-Time Hire | The Purple Pipeline | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly cost | $1,000–$3,000/mo (offshore) · $4,000–$9,600/mo (US) | $2,500–$5,000/mo (boutique) | $4,700–$7,000/mo (salary + benefits) | $400–$800/mo |
| Understands recruitment operations | No — requires training from scratch | No — built for marketing, not ops | Depends entirely on who you hire | Yes — 10+ years inside recruitment ops |
| Knows preboarding, pipeline management, tracker builds | Unlikely without extensive briefing | No | Maybe | Yes |
| Website builds included | No | Extra cost — $5,000–$25,000 | No | From $1,200 |
| Process automation | No | Extra cost | No | From $400 |
| Full task visibility | No | No | Yes | Yes — real-time ClickUp access |
| Training required | Yes — significant | Yes — on your agency | Onboarding period | No recruitment training required |
| Minimum commitment | Varies | Usually 3–6 months | Employment contract | Month-to-month or single project |
VA rates in 2026 range from $8–$15/hour offshore to $60/hour for US-based specialists — before training time. Marketing agency retainers average $5,000–$8,000/month, with websites as a separate $5,000–$25,000 project. A US recruiting coordinator earns $47,000–$68,000/year — add 25–30% for total employment costs and you're at $58,000–$88,000 per year.
The real cost isn't the invoice. It's what happens when the wrong person handles recruitment operations.
THE PROCESS
Book a free 20-minute discovery call
No pitch. I'll ask about your agency's current setup and tell you exactly what I'd recommend — project, retainer, or both.
Receive a scoped proposal within 48 hours
Exact deliverables. Exact pricing. Exact timeline. Everything in writing before anything begins.
Work begins
Project clients get a start date and milestone check-ins. Retainer clients get their ClickUp workspace set up and their first tasks in queue. You see everything. I handle the back office. You recruit.
IS THIS RIGHT FOR YOU?
IT PROBABLY IS IF:
You run a boutique recruitment agency with 1–15 people and you're spending more time on operational work than you should be. You've tried delegating before and it didn't work because the person you delegated to didn't understand recruitment. You want one provider who understands how the website, the automations, and the admin all connect — not three separate vendors who don't talk to each other.
IT PROBABLY ISN'T IF:
You need someone to generate leads, manage your social media, run your marketing, or do end-to-end recruiting. The Purple Pipeline is focused on one thing: making the back office of boutique recruitment agencies run properly. If that's not the gap you're trying to close, it's not the right fit.
